What 200 Glowsticks Taught Me

The title is a dead giveaway that this is something crazy, maybe even out there…

But when you have a crazy idea, it’s probably worth pursuing, and in this case, it was.

The greatest lesson I learned from making this video - To Those Who Believe - is this: the greatest opportunities are the ones you make for yourself.

Bryer Pingel and I decided that we were going to tape 200 glow sticks to his UTV race car and have it barrel around a bonfire in an open field.

And to be honest, we didn’t know what to expect.

When we first started cracking the glow sticks, they appeared to last for five minutes, and then suddenly, they ceased to glow.

Great, this is going to be a total bust.

I’ll leave the judging to you, but in my personal opinion, this by far exceed my expectations.

With a little bit of courage and a community to gather around you, you can and do more than you thought possible.

I am grateful for Pingel Family Racing making this possible, as well as Glidecam for supporting me all these years.

Until next time.

Roger out.
