Logging off

Stillness, and the signal we’re all really searching for.

A few weeks before my youngest brother’s wedding, my dad took us on a boys’ trip to Fremont Lake in Pinedale, Wyoming—a place heavy with family history. We brought too many snacks, caught too few fish, and made memories that will last far longer than any photo.

This story isn’t just about the road trip, or the fishing, or the snacks (though, yes, there were a lot of donut holes). It’s about what happens when you disconnect from noise and reconnect with the people and places that really matter.
